21 Dirt Late Models will face a huge crowd expected at Makit Hardware Narrogin Speedway to night for Rd1 of the DJ Pools Dirt Late Model Southern Nationals.

If the town’s reaction is anything to go by on Friday when arriving to Narrogin they will be out in force when the gates open at 4.00pm today.

It’s a long awaited return for the Dirt Late Models in Narrogin after a 8 year absence this track is ready for some hot action tonight.

Narrogin Speedway Boss Frank Kulker is very excited about the Dirt Late Models return to Makit Narrogin Speedway “With the pre race show these guys have on offer not only bringing 21 cars but a full radio & TV advertising campaign, we have been a bit overwhelmed with the pre race response and expect a big crowd when they hit the track, this is one of the slickest shows we have had here and it is full credit to the LMRA”

Coming on board in a big way late in the season for the Southern Nationals is DJ Pools who jumped at the chance of being apart of this 3 round exciting series in the lower south west of WA.

Dennis from DJ pools had this to say leading into Rd 1 tonight “I love these things; they are the most exciting cars in Speedway today. When they hit the track at the Perth Motorplex the crowd jump to their feet and yell & scream, when I jumped on board the #41 machine of Barry Blake I knew the next step would be to get behind the whole series, so I approached the LMRA promotions team and now here we are”

DJ Pools have gotten right behind the 3 round series this week at Narrogin Speedway, Next weekend at Bunbury City Speedway for the Krikke Boys Shootout & the final round a double header at Margaret River Speedway for “Rumble on the River 2”.

Can “The O Show” Brad Blake defend his Southern Nationals crown or will local boys Matt & Clint Noakes be out to impress in front of their local towns people.
