Kevin Stevens and the KMC Racing Dirt Late Model Team are heading across the border Saturday January 30 to compete at the Mildura Speedway (VIC).

The KMC Racing Team are just one of a number of NSW based Dirt Late Model Teams that are travelling south to support the fledgling South Australian Late Model Association (SALMA).

“The South Aussies are endeavouring to build the Dirt Late Model numbers up so we are happy to head over to Mildura and throw our support behind their efforts” said Stevens.

“There are currently a handful of cars in South Australia. By combining forces to ensure a healthy size field hopefully we can turn on some good racing for the fans, and entice some more racers to join the division”.

“We never got to turn a wheel at Parramatta last Saturday night because of the rain, so the car is fully prepared and ready to go”.

“Mildura Speedway is a first rate facility and it’s a pleasure to race there. It’s our first run at Mildura in some time so it will be interesting to see how the KMC Racing #8 Rayburn Dodge performs given the changes we have made to the car this season” concluded Stevens.

The next scheduled race meeting for the KMC Racing Dirt Late Model Team following Mildura will be at Fire Service Plus Nowra Speedway Saturday February 6.
